For instance, if you want to target the dog training niche, pick a domain name like bestdogtraining.com. This will help in your search engine rankings later on.

Products and Affiliate Marketing

Next you will need some type of product or service to sell to earn money. If you already have a product, that is great. If you don’t, you can join an affiliate program such as ClickBank or Commission Junction. Now you just need to build your online business around specific keywords that you want to target. When you begin creating your site, take your primary keywords and keyword phrases and make sure you place them throughout your site. By doing this, the search engines will be able to tell what your web site is all about. One thing you don’t want to do is to merely fill your website with your keywords. This is seen as keyword stuffing and can essentially hurt your website’s search engine placement and can lead to your web site being banned by the search engines.

It is now time to let the search engines know your online business site is up and running. You can accomplish this by building keyword targeted links to your web site. You will want to place links on other web sites and make sure these links point back to your new website. It is also very important to use keyword links since this will help you rank higher in the search engines. Although you can use various techniques for link building such as directory submission and blog commenting, be sure not to build your links too fast. The search engines may look at fast link building as artificial and ban your web site. In addition, article marketing is a great way to build high quality backlinks for your web site.

You can also utilize the search engines to find other ways of driving even more traffic to your new site. Some strategies you find will be free while others can charge you a lot. When you are first getting started, use as much free advertising as possible. Make sure you keep your traffic expenses under $100 per month when you are starting out. You don’t need to spend a lot of money to start getting traffic to your site. When everything is said and done, driving traffic to your website is going to mean the difference between successful online business and a failure.

Hi Christian,
The internet is a simple and cheap way to earn money. Many people that I know of who started blogging part time have now quit their jobs and blog full time.

It just takes some persistent action and focus for the first year to get things going.

There is a another reason to avoid keyword stuffing and that is sites that use the technique are pretty well unreadable to people who do happen upon their sites. You won’t get much in the way of sales if your content is stuffed full of keywords.

People who land on your site want to see informative content that offers something of interest. Content that is stuffed full of keywords rarely does this.
